You ...Boy, does this ever "take me back". You described my homestudy feelings to a "T". Nervewracking!!Scary!! All of the above! Prayers for peace as you move forward in the process. I too have mixed emotions regarding Abby's birth parents, specifically her birth mother. It's hard when I look at my daughter and come to the painful realization that she was unwanted by the person that gave her life. I can't wrap my brain around that, but I am so thankful that she wanted to uphold the sanctity of life for her child and place her for adoption.
